And so the journey begins...

I had been feeling for awhile that my columns were getting too bogged down with procedures and protocols and the true message of what I was writing was getting pushed to the back burner. When I initially started writing my column I wanted it to answer your questions and help you find easy ways to deal with certain situations. But I slowly began to realize that what I really wanted was to inform you on skills that would transcend procedures and would deliver to you the necessary soft skills needed to excel at being a CBA. The most valued soft skills that employers seek from their employees include communications (both verbal and written), interpersonal, teamwork, problem-solving, time-management, analytical, and adaptability. Learning and implementing these soft skills is not always easy as it causes us to look inward and assess our true skills and find ways to improve those we need to. My blog will be focusing on these skills and how to develop and fine tune them so they become second nature to you. So if you have any comments or questions please feel free to post them on here and I'll get back to you ASAP. Talk to you soon. Q
